Courtney Kilkuts, DMD | Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Top Oral Surgeon Serving Nampa, Boise, & Meridian

Dr. Courtney A. Kilkuts is beyond excited to join our team at Owyhee Oral and Facial Surgery. She is one of the select few female oral surgeons in the country and she is eager to bring her gentle strength to practice full-scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery here in Idaho. She was drawn to Owyhee because of its patient-centric approach and its warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Dr. Kilkuts was born and raised in Southern California. She received her bachelor’s degree at Princeton University and her doctorate in dental medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Kilkuts practiced as a general dentist in private practice for 4 years in San Francisco while also serving as a clinical instructor to dental students at the University of the Pacific. Though she enjoyed her time practicing as a dentist, Dr. Kilkuts was drawn to the surgical field after spending increasing amounts of time at her father’s office, who is also an oral surgeon.

Dr. Kilkuts went on to complete her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center where she received extensive training in dental and implant surgery, anesthesia, facial trauma surgery, orthognathic surgery, head and neck cancer, head and neck pathology, and maxillofacial reconstruction. During her training, she served as Chief Resident and became a published author.

When Dr. Kilkuts is not operating, you will find her outdoors with her family and closest friends. She has a particular affinity for all things on or near the water and can often be found competing in open water competitions. Throughout college, she was a world class swimmer competing at both the 2004 and 2008 U.S Olympic Team Trials and the NCAA championships. She was a member of the United States National Team and served as the Princeton University Swim Team Captain.

Dr. Kilkuts looks forward to meeting you and welcoming you to Owyhee!
